Question: What is SMTP?
Answer: SMTP - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, a protocol for sending e-mail messages between
servers.


Question: What is Mail Server?
Answer: Mail Server is a computer or device on a Network that manages network mail resources.


Question: What do I need in order to start sending SMS by using FastSMS III program?
Answer: All you need is access to a computer, Internet access or LAN connection, valid E-mail account, and the receiver of your message needs to be a Text Messaging subscriber.


Question: Whether should I pay for each sent message by using FastSMS III?
Answer: No! All messages you send by using FastSMS III are absolutely free-of-charge


Question: Why can't I send sms? It gives me en error message. For SMS Delivery setup I'm using Web mail with SMTP setting.
Answer: Please be aware that some ISP's (Internet Service Providers) do not allow their customers to send E-mail out using a third  party SMTP server and require their customers to use their own ISP's SMTP servers. It may be a reason why you can’t send sms. If your ISP doesn't allow you to send E-mail out using a third party SMTP server, we recommend that you contact them directly to verify their SMTP server settings.  In that case you need to configure SMS Delivery Setup in FastSMS III with your ISP's SMTP setting.


Question: Why am I getting some error messages while I try to send SMS?
Answer: If you are receiving errors when attempting to send SMS, you should check your mail server configuration settings. The Mail SMTP server requires proper authentication.


Question: What does mean Socket error #10067: Too many processes?
Answer: A Windows Sockets implementation may have a limit on the number of applications that may use it simultaneously.


Question: I got the following error " Socket Error # 10060 ". What does this mean?
Answer: Some ISP blocks their users using any SMTP server other than their own. In that case you have to use ISP's SMTP server in SMS Delivery set up.


Question: During sending message I am getting an error message as 530 5.7.1 Relaying not allowed. What might be my problem?
Answer:
1.The sender of the message does not have the privileges required to complete delivery.
2. You are trying to relay your message through another SMTP server and it does not permit you to relay.
3. The recipient might have mailbox delivery restrictions enabled.
4. Make sure you mail server is not on a spam list.


Question: I have a Hotmail, Yahoo e-mail accounts and I'm using them in SMS Delivery setup, but when I try to send a SMS message it gives me an error
"535 Authentication failed". Though my password of Yahoo is correct. How can I eliminate the problem?
Answer: Yahoo! Mail no longer provides free POP3 Access or Auto Mail Forwarding to Yahoo! Delivers subscribers. Currently, mail forwarding (SMTP) is not available for all international Yahoo! Mail accounts.
Free Hotmail account doesn’t support SMTP protocol, only HTTP.
Try to use another account with SMTP settings in SMS Delivery setup.


Question: I can’t find my SMS mail gateway provider in the list. I asked our mobile service provider for their mail gateway address but they say "Sorry I don't know" or "Sorry I can not tell this to you". Please advice me what to do?
Answer: We always try to get this information for our customers, but some wireless providers may not support SMS delivery via SMTP protocol.
We do not bear the responsibility and guarantees for services, which Providers give to their subscribers.


Question: Whether your program accepts text messages from a cell phones or e-mails?
Answer: No, this version of the FastSMS program doesn’t accept text messages.

Question: What is Use mail login input for?
Answer: Use mail login input is used when outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) of your e-mail account demands authorization for delivery. In this case you need to enter your e-mail login in that field. The password will be requested at the moment of sending your text message. If you use SMTP server, that does not require authorization, leave this field blank.
